Did you know that in 2015 nearly 500 children were reported homeless in our Butler County school districts?
Family Promise of Butler County (FPBC) hopes to help those children and their families. FPBC is a network affiliated with the national Family Promise. Our mission is to help address the needs of children and families who are homeless in Butler County by providing shelter, meals and comprehensive support services. We do this work through the service of many area congregations who provide overnight lodging, meals and hospitality to up to 5 families at any one time.
The other critical component is our Day Center which provides families a place to stay during the day where they can take care of basic needs and get assistance toward their goals of becoming self-sufficient.
