Family Promise - Day Center

Family Promise of Butler County

Did you know that in 2018, over 900 students in Butler County were considered homeless as well as an additional 600 children under the age of five?  This information is provided by the Butler County Educational Services Center and includes all of the school districts in Butler County.

Family Promise of Butler County (FPBC) hopes to help those children and their families. FPBC is a network affiliated with the national Family Promise. Our mission is to help address the needs of children and families who are homeless in Butler County by providing shelter, meals, and comprehensive support services. We do this work through the service of many area congregations who provide overnight lodging, meals, and hospitality to up to 5 families at any one time.

The other critical component is our Day Center, which provides families a place to stay during the day where they can take care of basic needs and get assistance toward their goals of becoming self-sufficient.
