Posted by Trish Reynolds on

Dear Friends,

We hope everyone is doing well. We are anxious to get back to worship and are working on the hundreds of fine details so that when the time is right, we can return safely to worship. The sub-committee of Session on resuming worship meets next week. We hope to have more information for you next week on returning to in-person worship. We understand that this is difficult for everyone. Stay safe! Stay healthy!

ONLINE WORSHIP TIMES THIS WEEK: We will continue to stream our services on Facebook and our website. The Traditional Worship Service will be aired live on Facebook at 9:30 a.m., and the Praise Worship Service will be broadcasted at 10:45 a.m. Both services can be found on our Facebook video page at www.facebook.com/pg/thepresbyofhamilton/videos or by clicking on our “Sermons” icon on our website at www.thepresby.org.

**We have some reminders and new information to share with you this week**

THANK YOU from the Provarts for the cards, calls, food, and well wishes! We are blessed beyond measure to be part of The Presby family.

REMINDER: THE ANNUAL PRESBY CAR SHOW for 2020 has been canceled.  We look forward to 2021 when we can join together for some 60’s music and fun.

The parade begins at Westover Retirement Community, 855 Stahlheber Rd., Hamilton, at 10:00 a.m. Next, the parade continues at Berkeley Square Retirement Community at roughly 11:00 a.m. depending on traffic and the number of cars in the parade. Also, if you plan to return to the church for ice cream, please let us know that as well.  We hope you can join us! This event will take place rain or shine.

ZOOM BIBLE STUDY: Do you feel weighted down with worry? We are excited to announce that we will be launching a Zoom Bible Study on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. This study will be open to men and women and will run for five weeks, concluding on July 22, 2020. We will be using Max Lucado’s study, Anxious for Nothing, Finding Calm in a Chaotic World. Some of you may remember the men doing this study in September 2018. Wow, has the world changed since then! Anxious for Nothing is as relevant today as it was 21 short months ago. Members of The Presbyterian Church staff will be facilitating this study. Please email to let us know if you want to be part of this exciting new option. Registration is required. We will need to email you the Zoom meeting specifics for you to join us.  You may purchase your study guide on Amazon.com. You can download a Kindle version for $6.99 or order a paperback for $8.99.
