People say that God answers our prayers in 3 different ways. Sometimes God says, “yes,”  sometimes God says, ”not yet,” and then sometimes God says, “no” for our best in life.

Garth Brooks wrote a song years ago, called “Unanswered Prayers”. He had fallen in love with a high school sweetheart, and every night he got on his knees and asked God – begged God to “please let me marry her.”   It didn’t work out.  Twenty years later, he went back to that high school for a class reunion, and while he was there he bumped into that old girlfriend.  And that’s when he looked up to heaven and said, “Thank you, God, for saying ‘no’.”
