4th of July At the Presby 2026

We Need Your Help to Share Christ's Love This Fourth of July!

One of our goals as a church is to be the Heart of Christ, in the heart of the city, and this Fourth of July we have a wonderful opportunity to do just that.

Thanks to a 17Strong Microgrant and the generosity of our church family, we will be giving away 500 Lil' Patriotic Parade Packs to children along the Hamilton Fourth of July Parade route. It is a simple act of kindness, but one that can create smiles, start conversations, and remind our community that they are loved.

To make this outreach a success, we need your help!

Parade Pack Assembly

Join us on Tuesday, June 23, at 10:00 a.m. as we put together all 500 Parade Packs. The more volunteers we have, the quicker the work goes and the more fun we will have together.

Parade Day Volunteers

On the morning of July 4, we need 10 volunteer teams to help distribute the Parade Packs before the parade begins. The route has been divided into sections, and volunteers will simply walk their assigned area about 15 to 20 minutes before the parade starts, handing out packs to children. Once the parade begins, you are free to find a seat and enjoy the festivities.

Wagons Needed

We are also looking to borrow 10 wagons to help transport the Parade Packs along the route. If you can lend one, please be sure to label it with your name.

If you can help assemble bags, loan a wagon, hand out Parade Packs, or volunteer in more than one way, we would love to have you join this exciting outreach ministry.

Please sign up by filling out a Connect Card or by emailing Meg so we can organize volunteers and assign parade zones.

Together, we can make a child's Fourth of July a little brighter while sharing the love of Christ with our community.

Join The Presby for the Fourth of July Parade!

This year's Fourth of July Parade theme is "Celebrating 250 Years of America," and we are excited to once again share the joy and spirit of our church with the Hamilton community!

The parade takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, and we would love for you to be part of our parade family. Whether you enjoy building, decorating, driving, walking, handing out smiles, blowing bubbles, or spraying the crowd to help beat the summer heat, there is a place for everyone to serve.

We could use your help from now through parade day with float builders, shuttle drivers, walkers, sprayers, bubble blowers, and many other roles. If you would like to volunteer, please call the church office at 513-867-5411 and speak with Pastor John. We would be happy to help you find the perfect way to participate.

Parade Day Information

Volunteers will meet at the Butler County Fairgrounds at 9:00 a.m. for final decorating and last-minute adjustments. Those walking with our parade unit are encouraged to meet at the Front Street Church parking lot at 8:45 a.m. to carpool to the fairgrounds. This helps ensure that rides are available back to the fairgrounds after the parade concludes.

The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. and follows a 2.2-mile route, ending at the corner of Park Avenue and F Street. The parade typically lasts about one hour.

If you are unable to join our parade unit this year, we hope you will find a spot along the route and cheer us on as we celebrate our nation, our community, and the many blessings God has given us.
