2025 ESTIMATED GIVING CARD

“Stewardship, in the easiest definition, is gift of self. It’s giving back to God what he gave us, which is everything. It’s a lifestyle based on gratitude for all that God has given us and then generously sharing those gifts with the understanding that we are stewards of these.”

Each year we appeal to the congregation to share the gifts they have been given, so that we may help others in our community. As The Heart of Christ in the Heart of the City we serve those less fortunate with your generosity.

Let’s take a look at just a few of the gifts we “give back”. The Red Bird Mission Trip, is a wonderful example of teaching our youth the true meaning of service.  They are tasked with helping to mend and rebuild communities of those who do not have the means to do so. It teaches them lessons to last a lifetime and helps them understand how service enriches their lives as well.

Vacation Bible School captures the hearts of the youngest members of our community by teaching them the glory of God through song, fellowship and storytelling.

Christmas Shoebox Ministry reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas. We honor the birth of Christ by filling shoeboxes with toys, necessities, and the word of God. These shoeboxes are distributed all over the world. It is a blessing to share this widespread impact.

Easter Egg Hunt, Open Door Food Pantry Benefit Concert, Way of the Cross, Brookwood Elementary Supply Closet, and National Day of Prayer are just a few more examples of our community involvement but there are so many more. We can give these gifts because of your generous commitment to our church. Without your generosity, we would not be able to do these things. Your gift is a gift to others.

As we approach our Consecration Sunday on October 6th, I hope you will remember your crucial role in the blessings bestowed by our church. I hope you will join us as we commit to blessing others, as we have been blessed.
