Welcome to a slightly early edition of The Presby Blitz News!
If you looked at the calendar and thought, "Wait... isn't this supposed to arrive on the 15th?" you would be absolutely correct. I decided to send it out a few days early because on Monday I will be just a little busy with VBS.
By the time June 15 arrives, I will likely be surrounded by rainforest decorations, tie-dyed bandanas, energetic children, volunteers, music, snacks, and at least one person asking where the tape, scissors, or extension cords disappeared to.
I figured it was best to get the Blitz out now while I still know what day of the week it is.
As we prepare for an exciting week of Rainforest Falls VBS, I am reminded that the joyful work of sharing God's love sometimes means shifting a schedule, lending a hand, or embracing a little holy chaos. Thank you to everyone who is volunteering, praying, decorating, donating, and cheering on our children.
