What's Happening at the Presby?
Ladies Bible Studies
Women of The Presby are invited to take part in two upcoming Bible study opportunities this winter, each offering meaningful Scripture engagement, community, and spiritual growth.
Ladies Day Bible Study
Beginning Tuesday, January 20, this study meets weekly at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the Mix & Mingle Room of the Front Street Building. The group will be studying A Jesus-Centered Life by Lisa Harper, a seven-week Bible study that explores how knowing Jesus more deeply shapes how we live, love, and relate to others. Through video teaching, Scripture, and discussion, participants will be encouraged to grow in faith that is both grounded and practical.
Ladies Evening Bible Study
Also beginning Tuesday, January 20, the evening study meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Front Street Building. This group will begin a seven-week study of the Book of Ruth, focusing on themes of faithfulness, redemption, and God’s providence. Together, participants will reflect on how God works through ordinary lives in extraordinary ways.
Both studies are open to all women, whether you are new to Bible study or have been part of one for years. Come as you are, bring a friend, and join us as we grow together in faith and fellowship.
To register for either study, please visit the website: https://thepresby.org/ministries/womens-bible-studies/ or let Meg/Linda know on your connect card.
Men’s Bible Study
The Men’s Bible Study at The Presby will resume on Thursday, January 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the Mix & Mingle Room of the Front Street Building.
This session will dig into Romans 7, exploring Paul’s honest and challenging discussion of sin, the law, and the ongoing struggle between the flesh and the desire to live faithfully. The study will encourage thoughtful conversation, biblical depth, and practical application for daily life.
All men are welcome. Whether you are a regular participant or joining for the first time, come be part of a meaningful time of Scripture, discussion, and fellowship.
Called Congregational Meeting
A called Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 11, for the purpose of voting to approve the terms of the pastor’s calls for 2026.
The meeting will be brief and will take place at two times to accommodate both worship services:
• 10 minutes before the 9:30 a.m. service
• 10 minutes before the 11:00 a.m. service
All members of the congregation are encouraged to attend and participate in this important vote.
Indoor Clean-Up Day
An Indoor Clean-Up Day is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Front Street Building.
Volunteers are needed to help with general indoor cleaning and organizing as we care for our shared church space. Many hands make light work, and even a short time of help makes a difference.
