Report from the Christian Education Committee - April 2018

The Christian Education Committee and Church Life Committee have worked together since September to offer monthly “Family Fun Nights” with different themes.  January was “Football Night”, March was the “Presby Family Derby”, and April was “Tax Relief Bingo”.  These nights have been well attended and provide fun and fellowship for all ages of our congregation!

As of January 1, Linda Bonham became our staff Sunday School Superintendent, as Betsy Horton returned to her roles of Director of Praise Service and Youth.  Betsy also took on the responsibility of being our Social Media Coordinator.  She is who you would contact if you need help in publicizing a church event.

We offered a Winter Women’s Bible Study, “Faithful Abundant True”, which was offered at 3 different times, and had over 60 women registered.  There is currently another Bible Study in progress which is offered in the morning and afternoon, “Finding I AM”, and we have 25 women registered.  Our women’s ministry is thriving, and Christian Education has made it a goal for 2018 to now concentrate on growing a men’s ministry for our church.
