CHURCH LIFE UPDATE - June 2018

The committee’s goals for 2018 based on the church mission statement: “Share the Love of God with ALL people, giving them hope and comfort, while guiding them into a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ and each other,” relate to building meaningful relationships between our church friends and family and the community.  To that end we:

• Distributed a new church pictorial directory in the spring of 2018.
• Provide coffee in the M&M room and Court Street Worship Center every Sunday.
• Organize coffee hour/receptions following combined services such as Back to Church Sunday, Together for Thanksgiving, and the Music & Drama Camp presentation.
• Assist the Christian Education Committee with Family Fun Night potluck dinners and Kidzone Kick-Off events.
• Provide a meal for the Annual Car Show participants.
• Assist the Community Outreach Committee in serving a post-game meal for the Hamilton Joes baseball club.
• Provide lunch for the Pathway to Membership classes.
• Organize and serve meals for the annual meeting, and Ash Wednesday supper.
• Create a digital scrapbook of photos taken throughout the year at church events.

Church Life meets the 2^nd Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the Library off the Mix and Mingle Room – our next meeting is Monday, August 13^th.   To share your gift of hospitality contact any member of the committee – new members always welcome!
