MISSION NEWS UPDATE – May 2019

The Mission Committee thanks the congregation for the continued prayer and support in helping to fund the Campus Crusade Ministry and the local and worldwide missions we support. Below is a list that represents those worthwhile people/projected supported for the 2019 budget year. 

 Additionally, we support Buckhorn, Kirkmont and the Men, Mexico, and Youth Mission Projects. The Christmas Shoe Box collection and distribution is a huge event. We take under careful consideration requests that come to our committee for financial support and consider the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) when making any decision that involves the spending of our budget.

We save the following items for support of various projects:   
Eyeglasses (box in M&M room)   
Shoebox collections   
Medicine Bottles   
Aluminum Cans

 The committee members are Randy Towles (Chairman), Marla Richardson, Peggy Music, Cindy Towles, Melinda Schuerfranz, Gail Hart, Bill Kincer, Katie Huff, and Carol Harlan.

 We meet on the second Monday of each month, at 6:00 p.m. in the Mix and Mingle Room. Please feel free to join us at any time; we would love to have you.
