TRUSTEE NEWS UPDATE – February 2019

Because of the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act enacted in late 2017, far fewer people will be able to itemize deductions beginning with the 2018 tax year. Because of these changes we wanted to make you aware of options as we face the end of the year.

If you or a loved one is over the age of 70 ½, the IRS allows you to transfer funds as part of your annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) directly to a qualified charity without incurring income tax. To learn more about how this change and other changes affect you and your loved ones, please visit the link below:

We encourage you to speak with your financial planner and tax professional to research the best option for you and your family.

The Trustees would like to wish our family and friends of The Presbyterian Church as very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Your Trustees are:

Rick McGuire – Chair, Tim Hoskins – Deacon Representative, Cindy Dingeldein, Mike Dingeldein, Todd Halcomb, Adam Kranbuhl, Pete Moore, Kyle Schuppie, and Bret Parrish.
