Years ago in the hills of Tennessee, there was an elderly woman who lived by herself in a small cabin. The electric company noticed that here electric bill was extremely low. So, they thought there might be something wrong, they sent an electrician out there to check on it. He checked it out and everything seemed to be in working order. He then asked the woman, he said, “Is everything fine, here? Is your power ok, your electricity?” She said, “Everything works great. I use it everyday” He said, “We can’t understand why your bill is so low.” She said, “ When the sun goes down, I walk over to switch on the lights just long enough to light the kerosene lantern, and then I turn them off.”
And the same thing is so true with us when it comes to prayer. We have all this power, if we’d only tap into it.
